TabFlow ("we," "our," or "this extension") takes your privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use this browser extension.
2Data Collection
Data We Collect
This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information for its core features. We only store the following types of data on your device:
- Tab last-access times: Local timestamps used only to decide when an idle tab may be suspended
- Saved sessions: Optional session names plus tab titles and URLs you choose to save
- User preferences: Language (system / English / Chinese), auto-group, auto-suspend, and suspend delay
- Payment cache: Local Pro membership status used to unlock paid features. If you purchase Pro, a payment email provided by the payment provider may also be cached locally
How We Collect Data
All feature data is stored locally on your device through the browser's local storage API (chrome.storage.local). We do not:
- Collect your browsing history
- Transmit feature data to any server we operate
- Share any data with third parties, except as needed to process Pro payments
- Use any analytics or tracking services
3Data Usage
We only use the collected data to:
- Search, group, suspend, and restore tabs in the current browser
- Remember your preferences and optional saved sessions
- Verify Pro membership so paid features can be unlocked
Tab titles and URLs are used only in your browser to manage open tabs. They are never uploaded to any server.
4Data Storage
Settings, last-access timestamps, optional sessions, and the payment cache are stored locally on your device using the browser's local storage API. You can delete this data at any time through your browser's extension management page.
5Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transmit your tab data to any third parties. The only exception is Pro payment verification, described below.
6Permission Usage

tabs Permission
Used to list, switch, close, suspend, and restore tabs, and to read titles and URLs for search and grouping. Tab data is not sent to any remote server.
tabGroups Permission
Used to group tabs by domain when you enable grouping.
alarms Permission
Used to run auto-suspend and auto-group on a schedule you configure. No data leaves the device.
Host Permission (extensionpay.com)
Used only when you choose to purchase or restore Pro membership.
7Third-Party Services
This extension does not integrate any third-party analytics services, advertising services, or data collection services for its core features.
Pro membership is processed by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com). If you purchase Pro, ExtensionPay may process your payment details and provide a paid status (and optionally an email) so the extension can unlock paid features. That membership cache is stored locally. Your feature data is never sent to ExtensionPay or to any other third party.
8Data Security
Since feature data is stored locally on your device, data security depends on your device security. We recommend that you:
- Keep your browser and operating system updated
- Use strong passwords to protect your device
- Do not share your device with others
9Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- You can delete the extension and all its data at any time through your browser's extension management page
- You can clear your browser's local storage data
- You can uninstall the extension at any time
10Children's Privacy
This extension is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11Privacy Policy Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be notified through extension updates. We recommend that you review this privacy policy periodically to stay informed.
